The Portacolor is the warm, gritty preamp section from the legendary cassette multitrack recorder: the Tascam Portastudio 424 - reimagined for your pedalboard!

Whether you're after subtle saturation or chaotic, Tascam-style breakup, the Portacolor responds beautifully to your playing dynamics. It is very rewarding with how loud or soft you play. Crank the input gain and it'll get into fuzzy, compressed territory.

This pedal shines as a D.I. effect straight into your interface or FOH. Beware of the output!! It gets loud, especially if you crank the input.
